Polly Fiveash & Anand Nayak's music has been described as "soulful," "delicate," "sublime," and "unique." Influenced by artists from all over the spectrum, the music has touches of indie-pop, blues, old-timey country, soul & swing. Between the harmony singing, the elegant arrangements and the tasteful guitar work, there's bound to be something pleasing.
Polly and Anand have been making music together for eleven years. Both are natives of the Boston/Cambridge area and grew up making music of many different kinds. Their first experiences of performing together were on the streets of Cambridge. Now they live and perform mostly in the Northampton, MA area. Anand also plays guitar and sings with the folk/roots ensemble Daisy Mayhem (led by Rani Arbo).
